But before the first attendee walks through the aisles, the convention hall is a completely different world.

Forklifts move through unfinished aisles. Crews assemble structures piece by piece. Lighting technicians focus every fixture. Walls go up panel by panel. It’s the critical phase where months of planning finally transform into real, physical spaces.

For MMU Livedesign, this moment meant delivering full-service booth construction and installation for ZF Group and Hatz Diesel at one of the largest construction industry trade shows in the world.

Our team worked on-site in Las Vegas to transform empty show floor space into functional, high-end brand environments designed to support product presentations, visitor engagement, and professional meetings.

The Scale Behind the Booth Construction

Large international trade shows like CONEXPO require precise coordination, skilled crews, and efficient logistics. Every installation must happen within tight move-in schedules while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.

For these booth projects, the build included:

• 5000+ square feet of booth environments
• 120+ walls installed
• 15 custom glass wall elements
• 1,200 ft of Octanorm structures
• 150 lighting fixtures installed and focused on-site
• A large LED wall installation at the Hatz booth, serving as a central visual feature for presentations and brand messaging

Each structural component was carefully installed to support both heavy product displays and open, welcoming spaces for conversations with visitors and partners.
